Pizza will be the protagonist at the First World Pizza Summit scheduled to take place on the 21st and 22nd of November at the El Beatriz Madrid auditorium in the Spanish capital. It will be an international convention of great interest with the objective of exploring themes related to the most popular food product in the world.
This first edition of the international congress will address issues and trends related to the world of pizza with the help of numerous guest speakers who are well-known experts in the fields of gastronomy and what is known as the “white art.”
During the two days, every imaginable feature of the world-renowned and loved disk of dough will be examined, with particular attention given to the importance of craftsmanship. Other issues to be addressed include the high standards of professional training necessary to guarantee a quality product for the consumer, and the cultural identity portrayed; a factor which is often underestimated.
The two-day summit will conclude with the 50 Top World Artisan Pizza Chains 2022 Awards Ceremony which will recognize the 50 best artisan pizza chains for 2022. It is part of the busy calendar of events set up for the 2022 season by 50 Top Pizza. The event is curated by Barbara Guerra, Luciano Pignataro, and Albert Sapere, and will take place November 21st at 8pm at the El Beatriz auditorium.
