A Firenze la pizza napoletana ha il nome di Santarpia, un locale fresco e curato, alle porte di Firenze con parcheggio facile. Ci si sente a proprio agio in atmosfera conviviale e disinvolta, locale nuovo con arredi contemporanei. Solo pizza e poco altro. La continua ricerca di materie prime, da abbinare ad un impasto alveolato e dal cornicione alto cotto a legna è palpabile. In carta le classiche pizze Santarpia e la possibilità di ordinare quelle del giorno strutturate a seconda delle materie prime reperite quotidianamente. A cura invece del pizzaiolo è “una degustazione a 4 spicchi” da ordinare appositamente.

You feel right at home here; the atmosphere is convivial and unassuming. The interior has been remodeled recently with contemporary furnishings. Just pizza is on offer with little else. The continual research into the raw materials used, paired with a bubbly dough that has a high crust and baked in a wood-fired oven, is palpable. The menu has classic pizzas called Santarpia and the possibility to order the pizzas of the day made according to the ingredients available that are sourced daily. You can also order “una degustazione a 4 spicchi” which is a tasting pizza curated by the pizza chef.
