Si ode un fragrante “scroc” tagliando la pizza “gourmet”: impasto 100% integrale, alta e ben farcita, servita in un caldo padellino. “Il San Daniele” ha un’ottima burrata, il cui sapore viene un po’ coperto dalle scaglie di Parmigiano, ma esaltato dal prosciutto. Per le altre pizze l’impasto è integrale al 40%, più basso e morbido. Il personale è davvero preparato e disponibile, cordiale e paziente. Il locale è in una via centralissima ma comunque molto silenziosa, pedonale e con un ampio dehors; anche gli interni sono molto curati e moderni. Abbinamenti ricercati. Buona scelta anche di primi, secondi e vini.
When you cut into this “gourmet” pizza, you will hear a satisfying crunch sound. It is made with 100% wholewheat dough, it is a high-disk, abundantly topped, and served in a hot pan. The "Il San Daniele" pizza has an excellent burrata, whose flavor slightly is concealed by the flakes of Parmesan cheese, and, at the same time, enhanced by the ham. For the other pizzas, instead, the dough is 40% wholewheat and the disk is also thinner and softer. The waitstaff is extremely knowledgeable and helpful, as well as friendly and patient. The restaurant's location is very central but it is on a very peaceful and quiet road, which is pedestrian-only. There is also a large terrace. The furniture is very neat and modern and arranged in a very elegant way. There is a good selection of first and second courses and a good wine list.
