The international guide 50 Top Pizza is launching its first World Pizza Summit in London in partnership with Cibus and TUTTOFOOD. The international congress with experts, orators, pizza makers, managers, and other sector professionals will discuss current topics and trends that have been moving through the sector in recent years. It has been an exciting and complex period of growth that has seen pizza become the most important global gastronomic phenomenon.
The event will be held on Tuesday, 26th November and Wednesday, 27th November at Olympia Events, within the European Pizza Show, a new format created by Cibus and TUTTOFOOD. Its objective is to become an international meeting place for the European pizza and restaurant sector, and to support the exponential growth of the industry in all of its many facets.
During the congress, several relevant topics will be examined with a particular concentration given to the importance of artisanship, identity, cultural and financial sustainability and the new trend of pizza in the context of luxury, such as within luxury hotels and resorts. For the first time, the main focus will be dedicated to the role of women and the key part they continue to play in the development of the sector.
The two days will include the awards ceremony for 50 Top World Artisan Pizza Chains 2024, which is the official classification of the 50 best artisan pizza chains for 2024. The event will be broadcast in live streaming on 27th November beginning at 4:00 pm (London time) over 50 Top Pizza’s social media platforms.
