La storia dei Pilgrims parte con un viaggio in Calabria, per ritirare il loro Ape car su cui dovevano sfornare le loro pizze. In questo viaggio conoscono la pizza napoletana, gli artigiani, i prodotti. Il ritorno a Londra vede il loro immediato successo a suon di pizze. Un locale dopo l’altro, un successo dopo l’altro, li pongono al vertice del movimento oltre Manica. Un presidio del Made in Italy. Anche birra e vino (servizio al calice per i vini, di solito 4 o 5 in carta) parlano Made in Italy. Ottima la proposta dei cocktails, con l’immancabile Spritz, sempre in carta. Il servizio, allegro e sorridente completa il tutto. Prezzi più che accettabili.
The story of Pizza Pilgrims started with a journey to Calabria to pick up their Ape car, which they needed to bake their pizzas on. During this trip, they got to know the treasures of Neapolitan pizza, the artisans, and its products. Their return to London sees their immediate success thanks to pizzas. One venue after another, one success after another, places them at the top of the movement arising across the Channel. A presidium of Made in Italy products. Even the beer and wine (served by the glass, with about 4 or 5 selections) speak Made in Italy. The cocktail proposals are excellent with the inevitable Spritz, always on the menu. The cheerful and smiling staff complete the experience. The prices are more than acceptable.
