Pizzerie Eccellenti 2020
Pizzeria Da Tata
Senza glutine all’amido di mais. Servizio rapido e cortese. Un locale nel cuore di molti.
Da Tata: the most renowned among the pizzerias in Asiago is strategically located overlooking the only large parking lot in the city center. It is also just a few meters away from the ice rink where the famous ice-hockey team “Asiago” has its headquarters. The team recently became the Italian champion for the sixth time. The successful team has influenced the place, there is hockey paraphernalia hanging on the walls alongside skis. The menu, which can also be read on your mobile device using a QR code, slaloms along the classics of the typical Italian pizzeria. Pizza compositions are denominated in the medieval German-Italian dialect “cimbro,” a language spoken here up to just a century ago. There is a large variety of pizzas which are very well made and the menus have well-listed ingredients. The classics are appropriately large and thin, adequately topped, and use a lot of fresh, medium or aged (“DOP” Protected Designation of Origin) Asiago cheese. Pizza can also be: gluten free with corn starch; “Cerealissime” (super-cereal) made with spelt grain, oats, and rye; or proteic, using “moringa oleifera” flour. Plenty of beers are available, including locally brewed options. The staff is quick and friendly. It is a place that has won the hearts of many.
