50 Top Pizza 2024: the complete program
We are pre-announcing our 2024 global events for 50 Top Pizza, the online network which has been providing up-to-date information for the extraordinary pizza trend occuring around the world since 2017. For the first time this year, there will also be a classification for Latin America.
We will begin with the guide for 50 Top Pizza Asia – Pacific, which will be presented on March 4th in Tokyo. The awards ceremony will be held at the Istituto Italiano di Cultura and a party will follow at the Italian Embassy.
Following this there will be our first edition of the 50 Top Pizza Latin America ranking, which will be held on April 17th at the Istituto Italiano di Cultura in Rio de Janeiro.
On May 13th, the sixth edition of the 50 Top Pizza Europa guide (excluding Italy) is scheduled to take place. This year it will be held at the Fundación Pablo VI in Madrid in conjunction with one of our new events: the Spain Pizza Week, (Semana de la pizza en España), which will involve the major cities in this country. On this occasion, a special selection of over 100 Spanish pizzerias will be presented, including independent venues and artisan chains. They will give life to a series of events that aim to involve and celebrate the world of quality enogastronomy in Spain at the time of the presentation of the European guide.
June 25th will take us to America for 50 Top Pizza USA, which will be presented in New York in the White Space Chelsea at Chelsea Market, an iconic meeting place for food enthusiasts in the Big Apple.
On July 10th the 50 Top Pizza Italia guide will be presented for the first time in the historic Teatro Manzoni in Milan, located in the heart of the city center. During the week of the presentation, Milan Pizza Week will be held, dedicated to the Milanese tradition.
On September 10th we will return to Naples, the pizza capital of the world, to crown the 100 Best Pizzerias in the World with 50 Top Pizza World. It will include a breathtaking countdown at the Teatro Mercadante, which has just been remodeled.
The 2024 edition will close on the 26th and 27th of November in London with the World Pizza Summit, which will take place during the European Pizza & Pasta Show. It will include an awards ceremony for the best artisan pizzeria chains in the world, 50 Top World Artisan Pizza Chains.
And that is not all: we will also guide you on a discovery of the best pizzerias in Paris, in occasion of the Olympics, and we will also keep you updated on the most important European capitals.

What is 50 Top Pizza?
It is an independent online guide which evaluates pizzerias with anonymous inspections during which the bill is paid in full.
How are the pizzerias selected?
Through a survey conducted by our inspectors, who are chosen among individuals that do not have any professional involvement, neither direct nor indirect, with the food sector. They are coordinated in Italy by region; Europe, the USA, in Latin America by state, and in Asia by continent.

The 50 TOP PIZZA inspectors visit the pizzerias anonymously; they pay the bill and leave without revealing themselves. The writing of the guide is free, coordinated by the curators, and without restrictions. We invite pizzerias to beware of individuals who promise a significant rise in our rankings through the purchase of products or through the recruitment of a press office.
